Connection Groups

Here at First Baptist Church of Santa Fe, we value worship, discipleship, ministry and mission.

Connection Groups are at the core of our spiritual discipleship and growth.

The Power of God's Names

by Dr. Tony Evans

By studying and understanding the characteristics of God as revealed through His names, you will be better equipped to face hardship and victory, loss and provision, and all of the challenges life throws at you. ... Tony Evans shows that it's through the names of God that the nature of God is revealed to us.

Read through the Bible

This group is reading through the Bible in one year. We read a few chapters each day for six days a week and reflect and study on the seventh day. Each Sunday we meet to discuss what we have learned and studied. At the end of the year you will have read the entire Bible and completed 52 deeper studies about ideas, stories or topics that have significance to you.

Philippians; Colossians; Philemon

Paul wrote four letters during his imprisonment in Rome, a period when the apostle was kept under house arrest while awaiting an appearance before Caesar. This quarter’s study looks at three of these letters: Philippians,

1 Peter

Are you looking for Community? You're not alone. Together we will study the book of 1 Peter,  discuss practical application for our lives while seeking to encourage one another’s faith. We will learn to love and serve the church and seek to share our eternal hope in Jesus  with our community as exiles in the world.

Acts of the Apostles

In a world that is unsure of where to find truth or purpose, the book of Acts stands apart. It reveals God’s plan for global redemption, his purpose for our lives, and the power he has given us to accomplish his mission. Join pastor Louie Giglio in this eight-session series as he walks through the story of the early church. Acts may have been written two thousand years ago, but God is calling us to be a part of that story today.

The Book of Joshua

Journey with us on Wednesday nights as we study the book of Joshua. We learn from a fearful new leader and God’s covenant people stumbling to trust and follow God. Learning to live in faithful obedience to God while remembering God’s promises are true.
