He is earning his doctorate from Baylor University; his Masters of Divinity is from Gateway Seminary and his B.A. is in English Literature from West Texas A&M University.  He enjoys spending time with his family and church, reading, drinking coffee, working out, mountain biking, and skiing.  Most of all, he loves Jesus Christ and serving him in Santa Fe!

John holds a Master of Arts in Church Music from Gateway Seminary and has a Bachelor of Music in Church Music from Baylor University.  John enjoys playing with his kids, cooking, ice skating and skiing.  He desires that all who visit First Baptist Church experience the love of Christ, transformative worship, and the warmth of our people!

Linda is a native New Mexican and has served on our staff for over 26 years! She and her husband John have two adult children and four grandchildren. She is an integral part of FBC and it is her honor and privilege to serve this church.

Betty is originally from Southern California and moved to Santa Fe with her husband Mark in 2015. She has extensive bookkeeping experience and even managed a boutique hotel on the Monterey Bay in California. She loves the Lord and is thrilled to be part of FBC!

Linda Shaw has served in ministry at her church while living in New York on the church board, and she was head of the Children’s Sunday School program. She is presently our Preschool Coordinator and is also the Director of Client Services at the Santa Fe Care Net pregnancy center.

Herman is a native New Mexican and has been married to Loretta for over 20 years. He loves camping and traveling. His service is critical to the stewardship of our facilities and ministries of our church.
